Two positions are available:
one at the middle school level focusing on 5th and 6th graders, and another at the high school level supporting students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current state certification meeting all requirements for Special Education Teacher Prior experience managing caseloads of students with IEPs at the middle or high school level Strong assessment and evaluation skills for eligibility and ongoing progress monitoring Demonstrated ability to collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service providers Skilled in direct instruction, accommodations, and implementation of behavioral or academic interventions Commitment to in-person service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and case-manage IEPs for assigned students within the designated grade bands Conduct formal and informal evaluations as required to determine student eligibility and progress Collaborate with instructional staff, administrators, and parents to foster student success Provide direct, individualized, and/or small group instruction aligned with IEP goals Maintain accurate records and documentation per legal and district standards Supervise and support paraeducators within the learning environment (high school role) Whats in
