Category Schools - Visually Impaired Teacher Job Type Contract Make a genuine impact supporting students as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired on a contract assignment near Auburn, WA. If you have a passion for fostering independence and learning, this is a chance to build valuable experience working directly with students who are visually impaired. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing 570 minutes of vision instruction and collaborating on staff training sessions in the fall. You will also deliver 300 minutes of orientation and mobility services, empowering students to navigate their environments with confidence.

Qualifications and Experience:

Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) Strong knowledge of orientation and mobility techniques Previous experience teaching in a school setting, ideally with visually impaired students Ability to facilitate professional development or training for staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Collaborative spirit with a commitment to student-centered learning

Key Responsibilities:
