Are you passionate about caring for our youngest learners and known for being the calm, reliable presence who closes out the day right? WorldKids School is looking for an experienced Infant Specialist Closing Teacher to join our infant room team and help us give every family a smooth, joyful send-off at pickup time. WorldKids School is a vibrant, global community where children, teachers, and families from all over the world come together to share cultures and build a genuine sense of global awareness. We create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel secure enough to explore, grow, and gain confidence in who they are, all while immersed in Spanish and Mandarin language learning from infancy through age 6. In a full language immersion setting, even our youngest infants benefit from rich, natural language exposure that lays the foundation for true bilingual fluency later on. We're especially looking for someone with real, hands-on infant care experience, someone who knows the rhythm of bottle schedules, nap transitions, and tummy time, and who takes pride in leaving a classroom spotless and ready for the next day. If you thrive in the last stretch of the day, love connecting with parents at pickup, and want to be part of a school where your expertise with infants is genuinely valued, we'd love to meet you. Position Summary We're seeking a dynamic, experienced Infant Specialist to close out our infant classroom each day. The ideal candidate has genuine, hands-on experience caring for infants in a licensed childcare or early learning setting, and brings warmth, patience, and reliability to the final hours of the day when children and families need it most. Responsibilities Provide safe, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for infants throughout the closing shift. Follow WorldKids School's curriculum and daily routines to support infants' physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Support language immersion exposure in the infant classroom as part of daily routines and interactions. Serve bottles and meals according to each infant's individual feeding plan and schedule. Maintain a clean, safe, organized classroom, including thorough closing duties: sanitizing bottles, toys, and surfaces, restocking supplies, and leaving the room ready for the next day. Communicate warmly and clearly with parents at pickup, sharing highlights from the day and any notes on feeding, naps, or milestones. Document daily activities, feedings, naps, and milestones, and communicate regularly with families via Tadpoles. Follow all state-mandated teacher-to-child ratios at all times. Conduct name-to-face attendance checks during transitions and outdoor activities. Complete closing procedures accurately and consistently, including securing the classroom at the end of the day. Attend staff meetings, trainings, and school events as required. Support a positive, inclusive classroom culture aligned with WorldKids School values. Follow lunch and meal break schedules Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or sit on the floor for extended periods. Frequent transitions between standing, sitting, and floor positions. Ability to lift and carry infants and children (up to 40-50 lbs.) and classroom equipment/furniture. Fine motor skills for tasks such as preparing bottles, handling small objects, and diapering. Gross motor skills to actively engage with infants during floor time and play. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 18 years of age. Proven, hands-on experience caring for infants in a licensed childcare or early learning setting (required). Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin required. Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication skills, especially with parents at pickup. Dependable and punctual, someone families and teammates can count on to close out the day well. Willingness to complete all trainings required by the State.
