Job Description

Step into an impactful contract position supporting K-12 students as a Special Education professional. This full-time, on-site opportunity spans multiple school settings, where your expertise will help create nurturing, inclusive learning environments. The assignment runs from now through June 11, 2027, offering you a stable and rewarding school year in a dynamic district near Woodland, WA.
Essential Qualifications:
Valid Special Education certification/license required for active service Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher working with K-12 populations encouraged Strong organizational skills for managing paperwork, IEPs, and compliance documentation Ability to adapt and collaborate across multiple school buildings Excellent communication skills for partnering with educators, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a Special Education resource across various buildings, primarily handling paperwork and compliance Support students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, tailoring services to individual needs Foster positive relationships with diverse student populations and educational teams Ensure thorough, accurate documentation for all required special education forms and processes Contribute to compliance with state and federal guidelines related to special education Engage actively in staff meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning
