Job Description

Regional School District 8 is accepting applications for a 10-month, 35 hour per week, Permanent Building Substitute for RHAM Middle School. This is a non-affiliated position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Effectively manage and supervise students in the classroom setting Ensure student safety and work completion Follow lesson plans left by teachers Maintain accountability of students Accurately record and report attendance Monitor students in non-classroom settings
Qualifications:
High school diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred Proficient with technology (Google and Microsoft suites, PowerSchool preferred) Strong oral and written communication skills Self-motivated and able to work and solve problems independently
Compensation:
$22.73 per hour.

Regional School District 8 (RHAM) is a high-performing, regionalized secondary school district serving approximately 1,000 students in grades seven through twelve residing in the towns of Hebron, Andover, and Marlborough. The district consists of one middle school and one high school located on a shared campus in Hebron, CT. The district offers rich academic experiences for students through a robust program of studies, as well as a variety of sports, extracurricular activities, and clubs to provide students with a well-rounded education.
