Job Description
Building Aid & Substitute Teacher, St. Peter Faber Academy St. Peter Faber Academy is seeking a Building Aid & Substitute Teacher who will support the daily operations of the school by assisting teachers, supervising students, and providing classroom coverage when needed. This position helps maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment while supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of students. The Building Aid/Substitute Teacher will assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management, supervise students during arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, transitions, provide support for students individually or in small groups under teacher direction, assist with preparation of classroom materials, help maintain a clean, organized, and safe school environment, support office staff and school-wide events as needed, monitor student behavior and reinforce school expectations and policies, and maintain confidentiality regarding students, staff, and school matters. Interested candidates must have High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate or Bachelor's Degree is preferred. At least 3 years in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities. Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities. Excellent writing and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
