Job Description

Para Aide Substitute (to be used as needed)

$17.50 per hour

Must pass BCI and FBI fingerprint checks

Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or its equivalency.

Must meet No Child Left Behind standards (i.e., Associate Degree from an accredited institution, or completed at least two years of study, defined as 48 semester hours, or pass a formal State assessment.

Ability to cope with stressful situations as related to special needs children.

Physically capable to safely and appropriately lift and manage special needs children when necessary.

Demonstrated effective communication skills, both oral and written.
