Assist the teacher:
Prepare materials, set up activities, follow teacher direction, and help students stay engaged.
Keep things organized:
Manage supplies, equipment, classroom areas, displays, costumes, sets, media tools, or performance materials.
Support school events:
Help set up and take down displays, concerts, assemblies, productions, exhibitions, and community shows.
Encourage participation:
Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment where students feel comfortable learning and expressing themselves.
Work with different learners:
Support students of different ages, abilities, skill levels, and learning styles. We're looking for people who have: High school diploma or equivalent A great attitude and love working with kids Reliable and professional work habits Plus ONE of the following: 48 college units Associate's degree Pass the District's reading, writing, and math assessment No teaching experience required. We will train you on what you need to know.
