As a key member of the program, you'll create a supportive environment for learners during engaging afternoon sessions. This contract opportunity offers a schedule of either 1:30-6:30 pm or 2:30-6:30 pm, making it ideal for those seeking to foster both their teaching and classroom management skills in a fun, rewarding setting.

What You'll Do:

Deliver curriculum to students and foster a positive, energetic classroom atmosphere Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff to support student success Collaborate with team members to continuously improve and adapt curriculum Utilize organizational and basic math skills for attendance tracking and supply management Lead diverse recreational activities to encourage teamwork, collaboration, and physical movement

Who We're Looking For:

At least 18 years of age, with a High School Diploma or GED Minimum of one year of experience working in childcare or group settings with students Proven ability to manage groups and communicate professionally Willingness to complete the Instructional Assistant Exam (exceptions made for those with qualifying degrees or coursework) Three positive work/character references Clear Livescan fingerprinting and TB test required Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds for transporting classroom materials

Highly Valued Experience:
