We are a faith-based preschool providing a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment for young children. As an Assistant Preschool Teacher, you will support lead teachers in creating a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages the growth and learning of our students. Pay rate is dependent on your experience and education based on our pay scale.
Responsibilities:
Assist with implementing daily lesson plans and activities. Support lead teachers in maintaining an organized, safe, and welcoming classroom. Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. Help with classroom setup, cleanup, and preparation of materials. Participate in professional development and staff meetings.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Has a relationship with Jesus and Christianity Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units. Prior experience in a preschool setting is preferred but not required. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to collaborate in a team environment and communicate effectively. Must pass a background check as required by state regulations.
