A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
Paralegal responsibilities and duties:
Prepare legal documents, summons, subpoenas, complaints, discovery, and motions Drafting legal correspondence File, organize, scan, copy and fax legal documents Schedule depositions, court hearings, client and attorney meetings File documents with the court Proficiency with MS Office and Word Perfect Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines Courteous and professional demeanor Maintaining calendars Applicants should have at least 5 years' experience working in the legal field. Wage will be dependent upon skill level.Job Type:
