Job Summary Job Summary Special Education Paraeducator ($20.55/hr), Child Development Teaching Assistant ($21.90/hr) Requirements / Qualifications
MATERIALS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of training and experience, which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Paid or volunteer experience performing like duties
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Training and/or experience in child development and behavioral training preferred Desirable documents to attach: Letter of introduction Resume These requirements must be met prior to beginning employment and will be requested upon job offer acceptance.
  • Fingerprint and Background clearance (paid by employer)
  • Post offer, pre-employment physical exam (paid by employer)
  • Valid Tuberculosis clearance
  • Proof of vaccinations for Flu (annual), MMR, TDAP
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
  • PERS/STRS
    retirees are NOT eligible for this position
