  • $50 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Veterinary Technician Certification Zoom Public speaking Clinical instruction Teaching Full Job Description Career Training Solutions is an immediate opening for a qualified Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to teach an online Veterinary Assistant program. Classes are held via Zoom, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM
  • 9:30 PM (Pacific) from October 13, 2026
  • February 26, 2026.
Minimum Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience in veterinary medicine. Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). Must be available to teach Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 PM
  • 9 PM (Pacific) Must be available to interview between October 1, 2026 and October 4, 2026.
Must be willing to work as a contractor. Teaching, training, public speaking experience preferred, but not required A strong desire to train and mentor the next generation of Veterinary Assistants. Enthusiasm for your profession Access to computer, printer, email and internet.
Instructor Responsibilities:
In addition to teaching theory and labs, the instructor motivates and inspires students. The instructor evaluates student progress through observation and testing and maintains accurate and timely records of attendance and grades. The instructor works within the framework of curriculum provided and is responsible for the overall success of the program. The successful instructor will be able to: Identify students who are having difficulty with the material and provide a different learning approach to help them better comprehend the material Demonstrate clinical skills and train the students in skills required to be a veterinary assistant. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies in the implementation of learning objectives. Learn new technology and implement its use within a reasonable amount of time.
