About Us:

Tomorrow House Supportive Living is committed to empowering adults with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives. We provide high-quality Supported Living Services (SLS), Coordinated Family Support (CFS), and Independent Living Skills (ILS) programs in partnership with individuals and their families. We are expanding our SLS program in Napa and are looking for compassionate, dedicated SLS Instructors to join our team!

Position Overview:

As an SLS Instructor, you will work closely with individuals in their homes and community settings to provide personalized support, promote independence, and achieve life-enhancing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals and maintaining independence. Assist with daily living skills such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, personal hygiene, and household management. Help individuals focus on community integration by navigating local resources, participating in recreational activities, and accessing transportation options. Provide transportation and support for community outings, medical appointments, and other activities. Implement individualized support plans (ISP) and record daily progress in detailed shift reports. Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment. Collaborate with team members, families, and service coordinators to ensure optimal care and support.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required (training provided).

Transportation:

Valid California driver's license. Regular and unlimited access to a vehicle that is insured and registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicles.

Skills:

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to assist individuals in navigating and integrating into their community. Commitment to fostering independence, dignity, and respect for individuals served.

Other Requirements:

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
