We offer age-specific childcare programs for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our flexible, standard-based curriculum gives children a wonderful and rich day with sensory-filled, creative experiences, lots of exploration and social relationships with classmates and staff. We provide educational daycare that focuses on each individual's personal development. We also believe in teaching positive character traits and place a big emphasis on the outdoor learning environment. For our staff, we pride ourselves in having a professional environment where staff is appreciated and supported to do what they do best! We are in need of a floater/office administrator who is organized, efficient, gets a lot done quickly, has a good attitude, is a team player and loves kids! This position is for a CLOSER, which means the hours are from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. The floater/office manager will oversee the activities including: Sub for teachers to allow them to have their breaks or lunches Manages staff and student files and maintains all files and current paperwork Manages, orders and maintains inventory for food, classroom supplies, cleaning, office and new family packages Arranges supplies and ensures closet is organized Manages staff clock in/out hours and ensures hours are accurate Performs daily closer duties Administers new employee onboarding Calls future families to follow up on enrollment Ensures KARES/Procares (family and staff management software) is always updated Manages organization and presentation of the academy Ensures phones are answered by the 3rd ring Assists with subsidy accounting, paperwork, and compliance Opens mail and packages and distributes accordingly Maintains fire records, hood cleanings, grease intercept cleanings Greets parents, making them feel welcome and making kids feel like it's the best day ever Assists with actively recruiting new prospective teachers Runs errands as needed Tracks repair and maintenance needs and manages vendors Assists with tracking enrollment openings and student transitions Assists with marketing including preparing materials for each age group, email campaigns, flyer postings, photos for social media Maintain computer filing systems We require 12 Early Childhood Education units minimum so you will be qualified to sub in a classroom if necessary! We require 2 years of child care office experience as well as well as Preschool classroom experience.
