Assistant Toddler Teacher Are you passionate about early childhood education and creating meaningful learning experiences for young children? Wild Roots Holistic Learning Center is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and experienced Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who values child-led learning, fosters independence, and creates a warm, engaging classroom environment where every child can thrive. Experience with Montessori and/or Reggio Emilia philosophies is highly valued. Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of preschool or child care experience Experience with Montessori and/or Reggio Emilia teaching methods Minimum Requirements Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units Fingerprint clearance through Community Care Licensing (or ability to obtain) Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Genuine passion for working with young children Ability to build positive, respectful relationships with children and teachers Excellent communication skills Strong classroom management abilities Professional, dependable, and self-motivated Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Responsibilities As an assistant primary teacher, you will: Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Assist children with educational activities and personal skills Keep a clean and prepared environment Assist teachers with daily classroom activities Foster independence, curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking Implement Wild Roots' curriculum, philosophy, policies, and procedures Communicate regularly with lead teachers to understand the needs of the children Maintain the peace and order of all classroom operations What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Warm, patient, and nurturing Passionate about early childhood education Organized and dependable A collaborative team player An effective communicator Committed to creating an inclusive, respectful, and joyful learning environment Benefits Health Benefits Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional growth and continued education Meaningful work making a lasting impact in children's lives
