PRESCHOOL
Teacher and Teacher's Aide:
Parkside Preschool in San Anselmo is looking for a fun, outgoing, caring teacher's aide to join our team. You must be reliable, enjoy working with children and have a positive attitude. We would like the candidate to feel they can confidently be in a classroom with excitement, patience, and the love of learning. If you feel you are the right candidate and you possess strong leadership & communication skills, and a love of early childhood education please apply.A little about our school:
- We have up to 35 children per day ages 2-4.5 years old.
- We team teach with a group of 6 amazing teachers per day, each bringing something unique and special to the program.
- Our school hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm.
- We have been in business for over forty years.
What we are looking for:
- Someone who enjoys working with preschool age children
- Experience in a classroom setting is a plus, but we will train the right person
- The ability to work with children ages 2 to 4.5
- Someone that Is dependable and responsible Key Responsibilities Help with
Lesson Planning:
Lead activities teaching letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and basic math.Social Development:
Foster sharing, teamwork, and communication through group play, storytelling, and arts and crafts.Classroom Safety:
Maintain a clean, secure, and organized environment while supervising children during play and meals.Parent Communication:
Share daily updates and progress reports with families regarding behavioral or developmental milestones. Position 1Work Schedule:
- Teacher's Aide 9am-5:30pm
- 3 days/week M-W-F
- Extra subbing hours also available Position 2
