Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Associate's degree required Previous experience as a paraprofessional or behavioral aide essential ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) experience preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with students and staff Adaptability and a patient, encouraging demeanor
Key Responsibilities:
Work in tandem with teachers and specialists to implement individualized education and behavior intervention plans Provide academic and behavioral support for students in group and one-on-one settings Employ evidence-based strategies, including ABA techniques, to help students achieve their goals Assist in data collection, observation, and progress tracking Support students with social integration, communication skills, and independence Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress to the teaching team What's in it for you?
