Job Description
Part-Time Preschool Assistant Teacher We're looking for a warm, dedicated, and hard-working preschool teacher to join our team! Do you love young children, enjoy being part of a classroom team, and take pride in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children? We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and caring assistant teacher who is excited to work with young children and is ready to jump into all aspects of preschool life. This is a hands-on position where you'll help children learn, play, explore, and grow—and yes, it also includes the less glamorous parts of preschool, like diaper changing, cleaning up messes, and keeping the classroom running smoothly. What We're Looking For Most importantly, we're looking for someone who really wants to be here . Preschool teaching is rewarding, busy, messy, physical, and incredibly meaningful. If you love children, are willing to get your hands dirty, and want to grow as an early childhood educator, we'd love to hear from you! Genuinely loves working with young children Is warm, patient, playful, and nurturing Is dependable and committed to showing up for their team and their students Is comfortable with the hands-on nature of preschool, including diapering, toileting, cleaning, and helping with meals Works well as part of a teaching team and is willing to pitch in wherever needed Is eager to learn and grow as an early childhood educator Brings a positive attitude and a willingness to be an active part of the classroom Education Requirements At least 6 ECE units required Must be actively working toward completing 12 ECE units Additional ECE coursework or a degree is a plus CPR/First Aid certification preferred Experience Previous experience working with young children strongly preferred Preschool or early childhood classroom experience is a plus
Schedule Monday-Friday:
8:00am to 1:00pm Part-time with the option to add full-time in the future.
