Job Description

Teaching Assistant-Fully Inclusive- Private Special Education School We are seeking teaching assistant float between our Toddler, Preschool and TK calssrooms. This position is in small full inclusion classrooms where special needs and typically developing children are educating together. SmartStart is a dynamic cutting-edge, fully inclusive developmental program for all children including children with special needs. Come join our energetic and creative team. Our teaching assistant position is part time, year round and from 9:00-12:30 Monday-Friday. SmartStart is a unique environment and a great opportunity to grow in the field of Inclusive special education. Our assistants are full members of the classroom team and contribute to all facets of the classroom and direct work with the children. We are a Developmental-Relationship based school. ECE Units Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing with curriculum and engage students Support classroom management by fostering a positive learning environment. Engage with students to promote social skills and emotional development. Collaborate with educators to adapt lesson plans and materials for diverse learning needs. Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to the teaching staff. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student needs and achievements.
Pay:
