Opportunities are open for individuals interested in supporting students across multiple sites in an on-site, contract role, working closely with both general and special education teams. Assignments begin as soon as possible and extend through June 4, 2027, offering stability and the chance to build meaningful relationships within the school community.

Positions include:

DHH Facilitator:

Itinerant support across multiple sites, focusing on facilitating Virtual Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Services (32 hours/week).

PreK SPED Classroom Support:

Two opportunities to provide hands-on assistance in preschool special education classrooms, including diapering and personal care responsibilities (37.5 hours/week).

Qualifications:

Experience as a paraprofessional or similar supportive educational role, especially in schools. Comfort or previous work supporting students with disabilities, including personal care. Flexibility to work at multiple school sites as assigned. Ability to follow individualized education programs (IEPs) and confidentially collaborate with staff. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct support, guidance, and encouragement to students during instructional and non-instructional times. Assist educators in implementing lesson plans and behavior strategies. Facilitate access to virtual services for DHH students, serving as a communication bridge as needed. Offer personal care, hygiene, and toileting support with discretion and respect.
