Key Qualifications:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required Experience as a paraprofessional in a school environment is preferred Positive attitude and patience in supporting diverse learners EIPA certification is not required Ability to adapt to a changing environment across multiple locations

Primary Responsibilities:

Facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers using ASL Provide direct support to students, enabling their full participation in after-school activities Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed Foster an inclusive, engaging, and safe environment for every student Travel to different sites as scheduled, ensuring continuity of support The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, averaging between 20-24 hours per week.
