Responsibilities Assist teachers with lesson planning and classroom activities to ensure smooth daily operations Support students during instructional time, providing additional help with literacy, math, and other core subjects Manage classroom behavior by implementing positive behavior management strategies and maintaining a respectful environment Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs, including those with autism or disabilities Recess and lunchroom duty Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, or school environments is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and experience supporting literacy and math education Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, parents, and colleagues Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Technical proficiency in educational tools or curriculum development software is a plus Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment and support inclusive learning for students with diverse needs Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere

Pay:

$18.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
