Qualifications:

Valid Delaware Paraeducator Permit (must be in hand; pending status is not accepted) Experience in a school environment or with children requiring behavioral and instructional support preferred Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention strategies is an asset Clear communication and strong teamwork skills Willingness to pay for required $85 CBC fingerprinting If holding RBT certification, must arrange BCBA supervision independently outside school hours

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group support for students needing elevated instructional and behavioral guidance Facilitate positive daily routines, helping students achieve academic and social goals Assist with classroom activities, adapt instructional materials, and reinforce learning objectives Monitor student progress and report observations to educational staff Support a positive, safe classroom environment tailored to each students needs You will work Monday through Friday, 35 hours a week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
