Desired Qualifications:

Current DE Paraeducator Permit required (pending status accepted with email proof of application from DEEDS) Experience working with students in an educational setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Flexibility to be placed in assignments across the district as vacancies arise Ability to complete required district onboarding, including TB test, fingerprinting, and child protective registry check

Key Responsibilities:

Provide instructional and behavioral support to students, promoting their success within the classroom Collaborate with teachers and education staff to implement lesson plans and individualized supports Uphold confidentiality and adhere to student safety procedures at all times Support inclusive practices and accommodate the diverse needs of students Assist in monitoring student engagement, progress, and behavior throughout the school day
