Key Qualifications:

Current Delaware Paraeducator Permit (permit must be active and in hand) Experience working as a Paraprofessional, preferably in school settings Background supporting students with autism or other developmental differences Willingness to complete required $85 CBC fingerprinting Strong communication, patience, and adaptability in dynamic environments Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and multidisciplinary teams If you hold an RBT credential, please be aware you must arrange BCBA supervision outside of school hours if you wish to keep certification active; certification is not recognized in this setting

Role Responsibilities:

Support classroom teacher and students in a BRIDGES autism support classroom Assist with daily activities, individualized programming, and social integration Facilitate a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom environment Help implement behavior strategies and academic plans in collaboration with staff Ensure students needs are met with empathy and professionalism This is a full-time, onsite position MondayFriday, 35 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
