Key Qualifications & Experience:

Current Delaware Paraeducator Permit is required and must be in hand prior to start date (pending permits are accepted if proof from the DEEDS portal is provided). Experience as a paraprofessional, especially in school settings or with young children, is highly valued. Must be able to obtain CBC fingerprinting at a cost to the candidate. Flexibility and adaptability within a classroom environment, collaborating with educators and supporting diverse student needs. Candidates with an RBT certification must arrange their own external BCBA supervision if they wish to maintain their certification. This role is strictly a paraprofessional position.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct classroom assistance and programmatic support to Kindergarten teachers and students throughout the school day. Help implement academic tasks, reinforce learning objectives, and foster student engagement in both group and individual settings. Maintain a supportive and well-organized learning space, ensuring student safety and comfort. Work effectively with other staff members and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive culture school-wide.
