You'll work closely with our preschool team to help children build important skills—from motor skills and social development to potty training and growing independence—while preparing them to successfully move into the next stage of their education. Our Assistant Preschool Teacher position works with children ages 2-4, with opportunities for co-teaching and increased classroom responsibility. This is a year-round, full-time position , including our Summer Camp program, with a regular schedule of 8:20 AM-5:15 PM and allotted vacation weeks. Benefits Paid time off No nights or weekends Holiday schedule Tuition remission discount Professional development assistance Assistant Preschool Teacher Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the daily care, supervision, and education of children ages 2-4 Support a nurturing, structured, and positive classroom environment Assist with age-appropriate learning activities and classroom instruction Help children develop motor, social, communication, and self-help skills Support children through potty training and other developmental milestones Encourage independence, confidence, and positive social interactions Assist with classroom routines, transitions, meals, and cleanup Work closely with the lead teacher and preschool team to support student needs Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and families Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment Follow school procedures, safety requirements, and state licensing regulations Participate in Summer Camp and other year-round school activities Utilize technology and school systems as needed for classroom communication and record-keeping Qualifications Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred CDA Credential preferred Patient, nurturing, energetic, and positive personality Extremely dependable and consistent with attendance and scheduling Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively with young children in a structured environment Passion for helping children learn, grow, and become more independent Willingness to assist with all aspects of preschool classroom care and activities High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Background screening via the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is required:
