Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional skills. Create a warm, welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive interactions among children. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization to ensure a productive learning environment. Support children with any special needs through tailored activities and early intervention strategies to foster inclusion and growth. Monitor and assess each child's progress regularly, utilizing tools such as standardized testing when appropriate to inform instruction. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate developmental milestones, behavioral concerns, and progress updates effectively. Maintain a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to childcare regulations, health protocols, and safety standards at all times. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early intervention techniques. Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, including toddler care and preschool experience. Expertise in classroom management, behavior management strategies, and lesson planning tailored to diverse learning needs. Familiarity with Montessori methods, literacy education practices, math instruction, and teaching physical education to young learners. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to adapt teaching approaches for children with special educational needs or those requiring additional support. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety standards, and fostering an inclusive environment that promotes learning through play. Pay:
