Job Description
Job Summary We have a client who is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher aide to support Physical Education (PE) classes two days per week (currently planned to be Wednesday and Friday) in a private, Christian elementary school for the 2026-2027 school year (ends in May). This aide role involves assisting the teacher in creating an engaging, learning environment that promotes physical activity, and healthy habits among students. The ideal candidate has interest in PE in early childhood education, and experience working with young children to foster their development through active learning and sportsmanship. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to students' physical well-being while gaining valuable classroom experience in a vibrant Christian educational setting. Duties Assist the PE teacher during activities by supervising children, ensuring safety, and encouraging participation as directed by the Teacher. Help manage classroom behavior to maintain a positive atmosphere conducive to learning, safety, and fun. Supervise students during outdoor and indoor activities, ensuring proper use of equipment and facilities. Assist teacher to adapt activities for students with any special needs. Assist with setup and cleanup of equipment before and after lessons, maintaining a safe environment for all participants.
