Minimum Qualification:
High school diploma/GED and combination of training and experience which would enable the applicant to obtain the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to assist instructor/teacher with providing instruction to students.
Preferred Qualification:
One (1) year customer service experience, which included direct customer contact in person or by telephone handling a significant number of customers questions or complaints/concerns. Ability to effectively communicate verbally including a good speaking voice, active listening skills and a pleasant and courteous manner. Ability to analyze the customers request or complaint, evaluate issues and determine the correct course of action. Ability to go beyond a customers expectations being persistent in satisfying a dissatisfied customer. Ability to calm and satisfy irate customers. Working level skill in the use of Microsoft Office computer application software (Word, Excel, Outlook) Knowledge of the programs and functions of a wide range of State of Georgia Agencies a plus.
Note:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Enter student enrollment, demographic, placement, and program participation information into designated student information systems upon student admission or enrollment. Review intake documentation to verify that all required information is complete prior to data entry. Accurately input student information into student information systems and other approved tracking platforms. Update student records as changes occur, including enrollment status, educational placement, demographic information, attendance, and program participation. Maintain accurate enrollment and attendance records in accordance with established procedures. Upload supporting documentation into designated electronic record systems. Verify all data entered against source documents to ensure accuracy. Identify, investigate, and correct discrepancies in student records. Maintain organized filing systems for educational records. Perform other duties as assigned.

The position will function similar to a Data Clerk . Job Description as follows; responsible for the accurate entry, maintenance, verification, and organization of student enrollment, demographic, attendance, program, and educational records for the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC). The successful candidate will perform a variety of clerical, data management, and records maintenance , collaborate with facility education staff, school administrators, and central office personnel to maintain accurate educational records.
