Job Purpose:
Responsible for supporting the Council's product program sales during the cookie season. This is a part-time position - 10-20 hours/week from October to May. The candidate must live on Oahu and have in-person availability.Objectives:
a) Provide timely, accurate, and service-oriented digital and verbal& support to volunteers and parents/caregivers throughout the cookie program b) Support smooth program operations by coordinating communications, product related pick-ups, and event preparation c) Help identify recurring issues, clarify root causes, and create practical resources that improve the volunteer and caregiver experience Job Responsibilities 1. Work in cooperation with Council's Product Program team to respond to daily digital and verbal communications from volunteers and parents/caregivers with timely, accurate, and service-oriented support 2. Escalate communications to the Product Marketing Coordinator and Director of Product & Retail when issues arise, topics require additional guidance, or concerns need leadership review 3. Help identify root causes of recurring volunteer and caregiver questions, concerns, or process issues and assist with creating resources, templates, or guidance to address them 4. Provide support to the Retail department to fulfill retail orders for shipment and pick-up 5. Manage cookie product inventory support, including organizing product counts, tracking receipts, and maintaining accurate records for product movement 6. Coordinate schedules for cookie inventory, materials and rewards pick-ups with volunteers and caregivers 7. Help prepare for cookie related trainings and events by organizing materials, assembling supplies, and supporting event readiness before and during scheduled activities 8. Provide support in-person at major cookie events and at the Council Oahu buffer Dates Required for in-person attendance: Cookie University 1/9/27 Oahu Cookie & Buffer Delivery Days 1/17- 1/19 Weekly buffer shifts: dates tbd; 5-6 weeks mid-February to end of March (some evenings and Saturday mornings)Job Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalentExperience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience demonstrating knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Advanced computer skills & Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail with organization skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast moving environment Strong creative problem-solving skills Experience providing customer support through various communication platforms. Ability to work flexible schedule. Commitment to diversity and knowledge of/experience in the Girl Scout Movement. Must meet the Girl Scout background and verification standards.Job Type:
