Responsible for a safe, nurturing, and inviting environment for children and their families. Deliver services as outlined in Head Start Performance Standards and other applicable regulatory standards. Assist in the instruction to preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. Essential Job Responsibilities-Performance Indicators Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED. Required to obtain, with the assistance of the agency, post-hire a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. No prior experience is necessary. Prefer experience in a Head Start, daycare, or school setting.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite & database systems Must be cleared & allowed to work in a childcare setting by the Iowa Department of Human Services
