We are looking for a Floating Assistant Teacher with 1 year of experience in child care or a related field at our Brighton Program . This position is 30-35 hours per week with benefits, 11:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday-Friday. A set schedule is determined upon hire and may be adjusted based on the needs of the program.

Salary Range:

Duties:

Some, but not all duties include: Cover lunch breaks and staff absences, mainly in our infant and toddler classrooms, and occasionally in two's, preschool, and school-age classrooms as needed. Help maintain a quality classroom that ensures the safety of children and staff at all times Assure the classroom is in compliance with regulatory agencies at all times Communicate and maintain positive working relationships with parents and staff daily Interact with children within the program at their level using developmentally appropriate practices Follow and complete Cleaning Checklists Assure children are pottied and changed regularly Complete and follow through with lesson plans and child assessments daily Assure classroom responsibilities are completed daily
