Performance Eyecare is looking for an upbeat, dependable, patient loving Optometric Technician who is ready to jump in, learn all the things, and help create an amazing experience for every patient who walks through our doors. One minute you may be pretesting a patient, the next you may be helping at the front desk, answering phones, scheduling appointments, or helping someone pick up their new glasses. What You'll Be Doing You will be part of the patient experience from start to finish, including: Welcoming patients with a smile and positive energy Performing pretesting and diagnostic testing before the doctor's exam Helping patients feel comfortable and informed during their visit Supporting the doctor and keeping patient flow moving Documenting information accurately in our electronic health record Answering phones and scheduling appointments Checking patients in and out Helping explain insurance benefits and office processes Assisting with eyewear pickups, adjustments, and basic dispensing Helping patients understand products, recommendations, and next steps Keeping the office organized, upbeat, and running smoothly Jumping in wherever the team needs you You Might Be Our Person If You Are Naturally friendly and enthusiastic Dependable and on time A team player who loves helping others Comfortable talking with patients Willing to learn front desk, technician, and optical skills Positive even when the day gets busy Detail oriented and coachable Curious, motivated, and ready to grow Someone who brings solutions, not drama Excited to be part of a team that cares Experience in eye care is great, but a great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are even better.
