Key Qualifications:

ISBE Approval or Short Term Approval (process is straightforward) Experience working with elementary-aged children, especially in group and one-on-one instructional settings Comfort supporting personal care needs such as toileting, feeding, and occasional lifting Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with daily classroom instruction and activities for K-2 students Support teachers in implementing individualized education plans and curriculum Provide attentive supervision and assist students with personal care needs as needed Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe atmosphere that encourages student engagement Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when supporting students with diverse abilities
