Compensation will be in accordance with the salary scale outlined in the Acushnet Teachers Association collective bargaining agreement.
JOB GOAL
To work closely with students on a regular basis in an effort to provide them with the support needed to gain full benefits from their education program.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Work with students in recitation, reading, and other curriculum tasks, guiding and helping them.2.Under the supervision of the teacher, work with individual or small groups of students to reinforce material.3.Establishes as fully as possible a supportive and sympathetic relationship with students.4.Assists in the supervision of students.5.Handles behavior issues concerning assigned student(s)6.Assist teacher in carrying out instruction or lessons to support IEP7.Other appropriate duties as assigned.Compensation will be in accordance with the salary scale outlined in the Acushnet Teachers Association collective bargaining agreement.
