DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT
OF
POSITION
Full-time position working under the direction of the special education and general teaching professionals to support both inclusive and sub-separate programs for children with mild to severe disabilities, and academic and behavioral challenges in small group and/or 1:1 settings. Paraeducator is a member of the inclusion and special needs teams responsible for implementing educational plans. Duties also require support for general building activities, student arrival, dismissal, lunch and recess.
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated prior experience providing support services to students Evidence of high education with coursework specific to Special Education preferred Minimum of a high school diploma, college experience preferred, especially in the area of Special Education Must be willing to be trained in Crisis Intervention
SALARY:
$24.78 - $27.86 per hour
