Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support teachers in creating a positive learning environment for students, particularly those with special needs or disabilities. This role involves assisting with classroom management, providing individualized support to students, and fostering a nurturing atmosphere conducive to childhood development. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities. Provide support to students with special education needs, ensuring their participation in classroom activities. Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among students. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and other activities. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed. Support the emotional and social development of children through effective communication and interaction. Assist in organizing educational materials and resources for lessons. Requirements Experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting is essential. A background in early childhood education or childhood development is preferred. Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management techniques is advantageous. First aid certification is a plus, ensuring readiness for any emergencies that may arise. Previous experience in daycare, toddler care, or infant care will be beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff members. Patience, empathy, and a passion for nurturing young minds are crucial attributes for success in this role. Ability to adapt to various situations while maintaining a positive attitude towards learning and teaching.
