QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Educational Requirements – 1. Shall hold, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. 2. Shall have completed at least 2 years (60 semester hours) of study at an institution of higher education OR obtained an associate's degree OR passed Basic Skills examinations. 3. Experience or educational courses in human services area preferred Minimum General Requirements – Ability to follow leadership in educational planning and behavior management; Computer aptitude and ability to use technology to create, analyze and manipulate data and information; Ability to effectively work with students, parents, employees, and others; Ability to exercise initiative and effectively work independently; Demonstrate organizational ability; Capable of using effective oral and written communication skills, including public speaking, good listening skills, and development of grammatically correct letters and reports; Ability follow behavior program plans; Prior knowledge about Applied Behavior Analysis and/or believes all behavior serves a purpose and can be changed; Understands that to change student behavior, it is necessary to alter the environment and adult interactions with the student; Subject to a criminal records check as required by the Board of Directors' policy.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The purpose of this position is to support the instructional program by implementing behavior practices that positively impact the classroom experience of all students.
