Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Substitute Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood center! In this vital role, you will step into the classroom to support lead teachers, ensuring a seamless learning experience for students. Your enthusiasm and flexibility will help maintain a positive, engaging environment where every child feels valued and supported. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and be available within a short notice. This person should be comfortable working with children of all ages and able to jump in and excel in a fast paced work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young learners' lives while gaining valuable classroom experience. Whether covering for absences, vacations, or assisting with daily activities, your contributions will foster growth, curiosity, and confidence among students. Duties Assist other teachers in implementing lesson plans Support classroom management and behavior regulation to create a safe, respectful learning environment Supervise children during classroom activities, large motor time, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement Communicate effectively with team members and parents Utilize educational technologies and computers to support interactive learning experiences Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and teaching styles Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified Demonstrated ability to supervise children responsibly while fostering a nurturing atmosphere Join us in shaping the future by supporting young learners' growth through energetic engagement and compassionate guidance. Pay:
$13.75 - $15.00 per hour
