9688207-48240 Job Description A fantastic opportunity is available for a passionate and resilient paraprofessional eager to make a difference supporting students with behavioral challenges in a dynamic school setting. This temporary leave coverage contract will offer hands-on experience working either one-on-one or in classrooms to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

At least 1 year of direct experience supporting students (PreK12) with behavioral needs or special education in a school environment CPI certification preferred Meet at least one of these educational benchmarks: Minimum of 60 college credits Associates degree or higher Passing ParaPro Assessment score Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role, including assisting with toileting, diapering, feeding, transfers, and remaining highly engaged with students throughout the day Able to provide an updated resume and two professional references (at least one supervisory) Willingness to collaborate closely with teachers and school support staff

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instructional and behavioral support to students in 1:1 or classroom settings Support implementation of behavior intervention plans Promote positive academic engagement and skill development Actively assist with daily care and transitions, ensuring student safety and wellbeing Maintain thorough, respectful communication with colleagues and contribute to team problem-solving This position covers approximately 35 hours per week and runs for 6 to 12 weeks, with an immediate start.
