Work weekdays from 7:45 am to 2:45 pm and directly impact students daily learning experiences in a collaborative educational environment.

Qualifications:

Must meet Minnesotas Highly Qualified Para criteria by fulfilling one of the following: Passing the Minnesota Para Educator Exam (documentation required). Providing official transcripts verifying at least 60 completed college credits. Experience assisting students or educators in a school environment preferred. Ability to work comfortably with diverse K-12 populations. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit. Resume and highly qualified documentation (either test scores or transcripts) must be submitted for consideration.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support classroom instruction and student engagement under teacher direction. Assist with behavior management and individualized student plans in a setting 4 program. Help ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with teachers and specialists to enhance educational outcomes. Adapt to daily needs and tasks as determined by classroom and program requirements.

This position moves to a direct hire arrangement following the completion of 422 contract hours. The hiring decision will be based on district-calculated qualifications and pay alignment criteria.
