A rewarding contract opportunity is now available for a Special Education Teacher focused on supporting students with developmental cognitive disabilities. This full-time role, starting at the end of February and extending through early June of 2027, is based in a vibrant elementary school setting with a dedicated K-2 caseload of approximately 10 students. The schedule runs from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, providing a consistent workday and the chance to make a significant impact.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching license or eligible for licensure in Special Education Experience working with students diagnosed with developmental cognitive disabilities preferred Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:
