This contract opportunity provides the chance to make a real difference as a Paraprofessional specializing in special education, working closely with students both 1:1 and in small groups. With an assignment running through June 3, 2027, youll be part of a dedicated team fostering academic progress and positive behavioral growth.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Completion of the ParaPro Assessment Test, or at least 60 college credit hours, or an Associates Degree (required) Previous experience providing support to students in special education settings preferred Strong background in offering behavioral and academic assistance Ability to work effectively with K-8th grade learners Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver focused support to students requiring individualized or small group assistance Collaborate with educators and therapists to implement educational and behavioral interventions Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment Support students participation and engagement in academic activities Document and track student progress as directed by instructional staff Adapt and adjust approaches to meet changing student needs Enjoy a weekday schedule, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, working a total of 37.5 hours per week.
