Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a highly-qualified Paraprofessional! Multiple contract positions are available across several elementary schools in the Anoka-Hennepin area, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference in young learners' lives. This contract opportunity starts as soon as possible, with the initial contract period running through late November 2026 and the potential to convert to a direct hire after the initial 422 hours. You'll work 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, supporting students and collaborating closely with classroom teachers and other education professionals. Each school site has a unique team and environment, so candidates are asked to indicate their preferred location for consideration.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Must be highly qualified by one of the following methods: Passing score on the MN Para Educator Exam At least 60 college credits, with official transcripts required (diplomas or photos of degrees do not meet this requirement) Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting strongly preferred Excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed Ability to collaborate effectively within a classroom team Strong organizational skills and adaptability in varied classroom situations

Role Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on support to elementary students, including academic assistance and classroom management Work closely with teachers to implement lesson plans and activities Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Assist with recordkeeping, materials preparation, and other classroom duties as needed
