Key Qualifications:

Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required; please attach certification when applying) Demonstrated experience or interest in working with elementary-age students with DCD Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with families, related service providers, and classroom staff Adaptability and a compassionate approach to individualized instruction and behavioral supports Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive school culture

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and case management for a caseload of approximately 9 students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and differentiation to support varied learning needs Collaborate with general education teachers and related service staff to facilitate student success in both pull-out and inclusion settings Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, goals, and strategies for support Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all district and state special education requirements This position offers a schedule of Monday through Friday, with hours from roughly 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (37.5 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch). The contract begins approximately August 25, 2026, and continues through June 10, 2027.
