Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Floating Paraprofessional, supporting students across a diverse and dynamic district in the Anoka, MN area. This role guarantees 30 hours per week for weeks when school is in session, providing stable employment while offering the flexibility of covering call-outs at various schools in one of six district crews. Floating paraprofessionals will step into both 1:1 and classroom support roles, mainly in elementary schools and special education settings. You may encounter students with behavioral needs and support individualized plans (BIPs); being open to assisting with toileting and flexible with changing assignments is important.

What Youll Need:

Meet at least one Highly Qualified Paraprofessional standard: Pass the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam OR 60+ college credits (must provide transcripts) Resume and proof of qualification or exam result required for placement Proven experience in schools, especially working with students with behavioral needs Comfortable with SPED classroom settings, behavior management, toileting, and following BIPs Reliable transportationmultiple sites across Champlin, Coon Rapids, Blaine, Anoka, Andover, and Rivertrail Learning Center Adaptability to a floating schedule and willingness to fill in as needed
