Job Description

Little Stangs Learning Center is currently seeking an Aide. The aide is responsible for assisting the classroom teacher as well as supporting the needs of the center.
Qualifications:
Must meet DHS Rule 3 qualifications. Ability to be flexible with working hours and assignments. Satisfactorily complete CPR and First Aid within 30 days of hire. Satisfactorily complete SIDS and Abusive Head Trauma training prior to contact with children. Ability to complete and pass pre-employment screenings. Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch or crawl for extended periods of time. All employees regardless of position serve as role models for the children and families that we serve. Each employee must maintain an approachable and professional attitude toward the children, families and staff members at all times. Providing support for the childcare teacher. Monitoring and supervising the children constantly. Assisting the childcare teacher in maintaining a safe and positive environment. Adhering to procedures in preparing a bottle or changing a diaper. Perform other duties as assigned.
