In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Duties Working with Children Engage and encourage children throughout daily activities. Help maintain a safe, inviting, and stimulating classroom. Foster independence through warm, consistent guidance. Support positive behavior using age-appropriate, consistent approaches. Promote social and learning skills, including during mealtimes. Set an example by keeping the space clean and organized through regular housekeeping. Communication & Collaboration Assist lead teachers with observations and insights on each child. Assist with classroom record-keeping. Communicate warmly and clearly with parents and confidently answer questions about the program. Build a collaborative, supportive team culture and maintain a professional, positive attitude. Professionalism & Compliance Attend staff meetings and complete required annual trainings. Follow all program policies, health/safety regulations, and emergency procedures. Report any suspected cases of child abuse or neglect. Take on additional duties as needed to support the program. Skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators to create a supportive learning environment. Ability to relate to children and colleagues with empathy, stability and emotional maturity. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, teachers, and staff in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to supervise children responsibly while maintaining patience and enthusiasm for teaching young learners. Pay:

$12.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 40.0 per week
